I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Virginia State Crime Clinic. The Crime Clinic is a self-funded organization comprised of Law Enforcement and Security Professionals throughout the State of Virginia. It was founded in 1964.

The purpose of the Virginia State Crime Clinic is to encourage law enforcement agencies and industrial security managers/executives throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to combat crime through the exchange of information. The Crime Clinic seeks to achieve this purpose by developing cooperation and communication between the various law enforcement agencies, private security professionals/corporate security, banking security and the alarm industry.

The Virginia Crime Clinic supports chapters throughout the State of Virginia. These chapters are located in Richmond, Tidewater and Northern Virginia. By participation in regular monthly meetings members meet their peers, exchange ideas and solve problems together. Additionally, an annual educational seminar is held for Law Enforcement and Security Professionals. In previous years, we have awarded youth scholarships to students who participate in an essay contest.

Unfortunately, we now find ourselves short of the funding necessary to continue our programs. With this in mind, we ask that you consider making a tax-deductable contribution to help us continue our efforts to enhance criminal justice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our tax identification number is 54-0788048.

Please take a moment and send your contribution to the address above. For more information regarding membership, please select the members link above. Membership in the Virginia State Crime Clinic is open to local, state, and federal law enforcement officers. Membership is also open to industrial security professionals, banking security officers and alarm industry representatives.

Your consideration and support is appreciated.

Respectfully,

George Haudricourt
Past President,
Solicitation Chairman
